JACK MCKEON

Friday, MAY 2, 2025 // 6 PM

A Nashville-based singer-songwriter with an honest, plainspoken vocal, an eclectic-roots sound and a knack for bringing crystalline characters to life, Jack McKeon is a different sort of musician. A student of the greats drawn to the timeless, rather than the trendy, he hails from Chatham, New York and harbors a deep love for the written word. First inspired by literary music icons from Hank Williams and Guy Clark to Tom T. Hall and John Hartford, McKeon arrived in Nashville in 2021 and has since established a reputation for his own message-driven lyricism – a value which shows up in its full sonic serenity on his 2024 album debut, Talking to Strangers.

wild horses

Friday, june 27, 2025 // 6 PM

This rootsy Americana rock band delivers deeply meaningful music that ties to the human connection. Their sound incorporates heartbreaking vocals, standout harmonies, driving beats and epic jams. Wild Horses taps into their rural American roots with music that reverberates down your spine.

Frontman and lead songwriter, Jed LaPlant comes from a family deeply tied into the Minnesota bluegrass community, where storytelling is central to a song. He draws on that background with lyrics that are personal and at times intimate. That intimacy translates to the audience in their live shows, balancing that deep connection with electrifying energy.

They have shared the stage with Wilco, Shovels & Rope, Langhorne Slim, Dead Man Winter (Dave Simonett), Charlie Parr, The Lowest Pair, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, Willie Nelson, and are currently touring with Trampled By Turtles.

gabe lee

Friday, july 25, 2025 // 6 PM

Equal parts classic songwriter and modern-day storyteller, Gabe Lee has built his own bridge between country, folk and rock. With critically-acclaimed albums like 2019's Farmland, 2020's Honky-Tonk Hell, and 2022's The Hometown Kid, Lee created that connection by delivering his own stories to an ever-growing audience. His fourth record, Drink the River, takes a different approach. This time, Lee isn't offering listeners a peek into his internal world; he's holding up a mirror to reflect their own. Storytelling has been an anchor of his music since the very beginning. Lee launched his career as a genre-bending musician, and quickly progressed from dive bar gigs to high-profile opening slots (including shows with Jason Isbell, Los Lobos, Molly Tuttle, and other artists who, like him, blurred the lines between roots-rock, country, and other forms of American folk music) to his own headlining shows.

the currys

saturday, sept. 6, 2025 // 6 PM

We’re thrilled to present an encore performance of The Currys Live! at The Pines.

The Currys have been staking their claim within the indie music scene since 2013. The band have since written and released four full-length albums: Follow (2014), West of Here (2016), the expansive, self-produced This Side of the Glass (2019), and Keepers, (2023).

Their latest album Keepers represents another step in the band’s evolution, pairing the lush, three-part harmony that marks any Currys project with a more guitar-driven, indie pop aesthetic.
